    1740: First iron forge
    Delaware:
    Is on a pensula,
    they grew rye, barley, and corn.
    They raised sheep and cattle.
    Slavery existed in delaware until the the thirteenth amendent passed in 1865.
    In 1787 a paper mill opened.
    Pennsylvania:
    wheat and corn were the main crops .
    They didn't have much money but they had a lot of food to selll to the other colony's.
    There was a lot of rivers.
    Blacks msmiths were very importent back then.
    There was rich farmland.
    And later on leather tanning became a big industry.
    Chester county house was build in 1724.
    Enough water flow to enable

    New York:
    Traded with the Native Americans for furs.

    They caught cod and pollock while fishing.
    Natives told the colonist how to grow corn.
    The colonist trapped animals.
